Social Development Partners
Partnering with the All Stars Project, Inc. Evernia, LLC is bringing a performance based methodology to other nonprofits in order to expand the reach of the ASP mission; to transform the lives of youth and poor communities using the power of performance in partnership with caring adults.
The Social Development Partners initiative kicked off in San Francisco where Evernia and ASP Dallas City Leader Antione Joyce co-lead an improv training to the YMCA Urban Services staff, giving these front-line leaders tools on how to implement a performance based approach to their in-school and after-school services.
Evernia is currently leading the All Stars Project of Dallas in their program development of the Dallas County Promise Champions initiative at LG Pinkston High School in West Dallas.
The Dallas County Promise is a last dollar tuition scholarship valid at various partnering colleges and universities. The Champions initiative pairs students most at risk for not going to college with caring adult partners that act as Champions and support each student in their college, career and life goals.
Event Assistant and Community Liaison
Evernia, LLC acted as the event and production assistant for Representation of Form, an immersive multimedia exhibit by Group Acorde, a nonprofit dance company whose mission is to cultivate and educate audiences through lives performance.
Evernia acted as the community liaison for educational outreach performances, front of house greeter and the Q&A facilitator each night. Evernia also gathered and transcribed all audience member survey data for accessible use in any future grant proposals etc.
